Cosmetic company says keep your cosmetic bag light this season

(Las Vegas, NV) <05/20/2008> – As the warmer weather approaches, the glow of the spring and summer season can be seen in flowers in bloom, our wardrobe and even our makeup hues. The dark, heavy colors of winter can be removed from makeup bags, leaving room for a more natural palette.

Michele Kish, inventor of Go-Natural® – The All-In-One Cosmetic®, offers tips on maintaining the low maintenance makeup trend this season. “Each year during the warmer-weather season, one makeup trend remains as a rule-of-thumb: low maintenance makeup. No one wants to deal with the mess of applying lots of makeup and trying to master the skills of a professional makeup artist,” said Kish. “The key is to choose a product so simple and basic, it doesn’t look like makeup at all.”

Kish offers the following advice when attempting the natural look this season:

Label it Gucci from the Milan women’s apparel show. Call it Moto-Chic from leather designers who stick to dark colors for jackets and pants (like biker icons James Dean and Marlon Brando), but stretch it to bright colored gloves. West Coast Choppers does it with accessories for man and bike; Moschino does it with helmets and hearts.  It’s Boho-Biker Style for next season’s leatherwear: It mixes soft and hard details, and pairs gauzy women’s blouses with tall studded boots.

Boho-Biker Style 1 keeps the Tough Rebel Biker Look, with black, dark brown and grey leather apparel colors; plus the usual metal studded or grommeted boots, belts and bracelets. But for this Fall/Winter season, look for Boho-Biker Style detailing — leather jackets that are cropped to the waist, fitted into body-hugger shape, and ornamented, with more detail zippers but fewer buckles, more asymmetric jacket fronts and grommet design detailing.

Sometimes staying ahead of the tech curve leaves loyal customers behind. Online DVD-by-mail rental leader Netflix plans to stave off technological extinction by shifting away from mailbox DVDs and, instead, streaming entertainment directly to set-top boxes, delivering films on demand. With a click of the remote, Netflix subscribers with high-speed Internet connections and the right set-top box get instant cinema … sans storage disk. The good news is that the Netflix set-top box is cheaper than the competition. The $99.99 five-inch square device is easy to hook up and costs less than one-half similar devices from Apple and Vudu.

Also good news: It works Internet-to-TV, rather than forcing film buffs to watch their faves on a computer monitor. The film viewing service, called “Watch Instantly,” is free to Netflix’s 8.2 million subscribers. It will even stream entertainment from a wireless signal. And it rides the Next Wave: streamed media.

The latest La Moda in world apparel design and retailing is to offer customized clothing options … buying made-to-measure clothing online.

Online product customization was touted as The Next Big Thing during Internet Bubble 1.0. Those were the Prehistoric Web Days of the late 1990s up through 2001, when the ability to display and online order special shoe colors, select T-shirt artwork and design your own car model (from a bag of pre-selected features) promised to use full personalization powers of the web.

Back then, even Levi-Strauss — evolving from rivet-sewn workhorse jeans once worn by 19th Century gold miners into a dizzying array of boot/straight/flare cuts and stone-washed/distressed denim fabric — launched a Store-Your-Fit-and-Style-Preferences customer feature on its eCommerce site.

What remained elusive online was truly customized clothing, giving customers the power to design an entire garment and tailor it for a perfect fit according to her body measurements. Until now.

Thanks to Mark Eichenbaum of Augusta, Maine, carrying your bagged groceries, clothes and other purchases just got a whole lot easier. That is because in July of 2006, Mark founded The BAGGLER Company LLC, a company that is responsible for the creation and manufacture of an innovative invention that can only be described as genius: The BAGGLER™

So what is this elusive “BAGGLER”, you ask? It is an incredibly durable, pocket-sized carrier of bags. You know how it is when you go to the grocery store and you are given a gazillion pounds of groceries to be carried home in flimsy plastic bags. You grab as many bags as your fingers will allow you to carry only to come home with sore fingers and possibly even painful marks from where these bag handles attempted to cut off all circulation to your extremities. You try to get the bags off of your fingers and onto the back seat of your car, but you can’t escape the chokehold of these handles without an utterly frustrating struggle. You finally get the bags off of your fingers, but now they’re sitting there on your seat open and ready to discharge your canned goods as soon as you put your car into reverse. Don’t even get me started on what happens when you turn the wheel!

People who shop regularly at discount and dollar stores are well aware that in exchange for their super savings they may grudgingly be forced to sacrifice the name brands they’ve readily become accustomed to. Brands, that at the end of the day offers a sense of familiarity and consistency in a week that may too often be filled with a sort of, controlled chaos if you will. Just imagine the projected spike in sales if such stores stocked a number of officially licensed products alongside their name brand counterparts. Well, thanks to Four Seasons General Merchandise, this dream is easily made a reality.

According to comScore’s tracking of online retail in the U.S., online sales jumped 23% from July to September 2007, over the same third-quarter sales reported in 2006. Forrester Research analyst Sucharita Mulpuru, quoted in E-Commerce Times, noted that the 20-percent-plus growth rate for online retail outstripped the rest of the retail industry.

ComScore found that a soft 1Q 2007 in online retail simply mirrored a weakness in offline retail at the same time. But in the following two quarters, heading into the holiday season for 2007, online sales have resumed their growth rate of 20% or better.

The top performer in increased online sales was, predictably, online gaming, with the 2007 release of new Nintendo Wii and Sony Playstation 3 consoles, plus the hot “Halo 3” game.

First, why rhinestone jewelry? Because this isn’t the so-so “maybe I want it” type of goods—this is must-have jewelry memorable occasions in life demand. After all, putting money out to buy inventory is a risk. Nobody wants a closet full of jewelry that doesn’t sell. They want baubles that move and build sales volume. They want something to take to the bank for all the risk and hard work.

Look at the needs for rhinestone jewelry—prom, balls, dance, pageant, and evening wear–but bigger than anything is bridal. So be sure to play to this market. Next problem is what do I buy and where to get it. Of course I would like to say “get it from me”, but you do the research and see if that’s your best option. Search online and be sure to use “wholesale” with the search terms because you need wholesale pricing to make a profit. Wholesale specific sites like Top Ten Wholesale only list wholesalers. Next how do you price it? Make double your minimum selling price because surviving requires it.

But Haye’s new Fountain Duck isn’t the rubber duck you and I grew up with.
